Coronavirus (COVID-19) Action Plan

ASRC Cleaning is now able to resume providing cleaning services to all domestic and commercial customers, as per the Victorian Government’s most recent announcements regarding the Third Step of the Coronavirus (COVID-19) Roadmap to Reopening.

All cleaning services provided by ASRC Cleaning are subject to a COVIDSafe Plan to ensure all customers and cleaning staff are kept safe and risks are effectively managed.

What does this mean for you?

Essential Services under previous restrictions

If your regular cleaning has continued throughout the previous restrictions as an essential service (like NDIS, TAC or WorkCover services), this will continue unless we hear otherwise from you. There is no change to these services.

 End of Lease Cleaning

We will continue to provide End of Lease cleaning services as we have under previous restrictions.

 Suspended Services

If your regular cleaning service with us was suspended as a result of the previous restrictions, your regular time slot has been reserved and we will assume that you wish to restart your bookings unless we hear otherwise from you. Please let us know if you want to be reminded of your scheduled dates.

 We understand that a lot has changed in the recent months. If you wish to further suspend your cleaning service until a later date, or you would like to make any changes to the days, frequency or duration of your scheduled bookings, please let us know.

 Need a Post-Lockdown Deep Clean?

It may have been some time since your home was professionally cleaned, so please get in touch if you are considering adding some extra time to one of your first resumed services to help get your home back to tip top condition! We will try our best to accommodate your request, however due to high demand we may not be able to accommodate extended services or Spring Cleans for all customers within the initial weeks of reopened business. We can certainly book these services in the weeks to come.

 Commercial Cleaning Services

If your cleaning service continued under previous restrictions, there will be no change to your service unless we hear otherwise from you. Where your workplace is continuing to operate, regular cleaning is essential to maintaining your health and safety at work.

If you had a cleaning service that was suspended as a result of the previous restrictions and was set to resume after restrictions eased, your time slot has been reserved in our booking system. If you wish to resume your service with us or make any changes to your booking schedule, please contact us.

We understand it may have been quite some time since your space was last cleaned or you last had people in your workplace, so please get in touch if you would like to add some extra time to your first service back to get your workplace back to tip top condition! We are able to complete deep clean services to ensure your space is disinfected, safe and ready for your staff to return.

We also offer daily Touch Point Cleaning services, where our cleaners focus on disinfecting High Touch Zones in the workplace as you have staff come and go.

We also offer End of Year deep clean services, so if you’re interested, please make sure to place your requests before the end of the year quickly rolls in. 

 

COVIDSafe Cleaning & Our Mutual Responsibilities

As per our COVIDSafe plan, ASRC Cleaning has taken the following measures to keep our cleaners and customers safe:

  • Cleaners must wear PPE (masks and gloves) and practice frequent hand hygiene whilst at customers’ homes;

  • Cleaners must practice appropriate physical distancing while in customers’ homes or offices and speak with customers beforehand to devise a plan that ensures a 1.5 metre distance is maintained between the cleaner and customer for the duration of the service;

  • All cleaners have been certified in COVID-19 Infection Control Training;

  • We regularly communicate with our cleaners regarding their health and have stressed the importance of not attending work if they or any of their close contacts display any COVID-19 symptoms, as well as the importance of isolating, getting tested, and seeking further medical advice if they feel unwell;

  • ASRC Cleaning provides Paid Pandemic Leave for our staff who are unwell,  undergoing testing or isolating to ensure that no cleaner is inclined to go to work if they are unwell, or goes without a stable income during their period or isolation; and

  • We ask our cleaners to carry a log-book to keep a record of all persons (name and contact number) that they come in contact with whilst visiting our customers’ homes.

We recognise that getting through this is a team effort, and so we kindly ask our customers to also take some precautions:

  • Keep at least 1.5 metres distance between you and the cleaner at all times. Preferably, move to a different room from where the cleaner is working.

  • Wear a mask as an extra safety measure.

  • If you or someone in your home is experiencing COVID-19 like symptoms, please notify us immediately so we can cancel your upcoming bookings

  • If you or someone in your home has tested positive for COVID-19 and your cleaner has recently completed a service at your place, please notify us immediately so we can notify your cleaner to get tested and isolate.

  • Please provide disposable paper towels for wiping and bleach or chlorine-based cleaning products (if comfortable to do so) as these are the most effective disinfectants (please note, this does not apply to End of Lease services for which we provide cleaning products and equipment. This only applies to Standard and Spring Clean services).
