The Asylum Seeker Resource Centre (ASRC)

The Asylum Seeker Resource Centre (ASRC) is Australia's largest independent human rights organisation for people seeking asylum and refugees. As both a place and movement, the ASRC provides essential humanitarian services and empowerment programs, and fights for a fair and just process for people seeking asylum.

The ASRC provides over 30+ holistic programs and services that empower, support and fight for more than 7,000 people seeking asylum and refugees every year. From food and material aid, to legal aid, health care, detention advocacy, education and much more, the ASRC is a home of hope and support

ASRC in numbers - 2019/2020:

• 56,427 nights of shelter offered to 401 people, including children

• 652 people used Foodbank each week

•6,949 hours of free English lessons

•2,300 seen through legal triage

• 5,186 free health clinic appointments

• 322 job placements through the Employment Program

• 11,467 domestic and commercial cleaning jobs
